Ipconfig/all run when connecting my laptop to the router via Ethernet cable with wireless disabled: My Lumia 520 windows phone also became unable to connect to the router (it says Wire1 is not responding).Ĭan anyone help me with solving either of these problems regarding my laptop and phone?
Partway while trying these things my laptop changed from identifying the connection as Wire1 (name of my router), to calling it unidentified network (no internet access). I also changed the name of the router, then changed it back and re-input the password.
I have also reset the modem, run troubleshooting, reset my laptop numerous times, and run ipconfig release/renew. I used to have a static IP reserved for my laptop, but then removed it to see if that would make the Ethernet connection work (it didn�t).
I can connect to the internet via Ethernet cable at work. Sometimes the internet connection status will initially say connected, but when I try to access a webpage I get the error ∽NS_PROBE_FINISHED_BAD_CONFIG� on chrome, then the connection status changes to limited. Now I�m trying to do so via an Ethernet cable connected to the router, but I�ve tried with two different Ethernet cables and neither work. I�ve been connecting my laptop (running windows 8.1) to the internet via a wireless router (TP-LINK�s TL-WR841N) for quite some time.
